The Newcomer's Club of Costa Rica was founded in 1980 with
the intention of providing a social club for English speaking women. The
club is the perfect solution for women who desire social interaction with
others and provides a network in which many valuable resources are
shared such as: where to find favorite foods, great places to dine out and
how to learn the laws and cultural aspects of Costa Rica. Many practical
things such as where to find common plumbing supplies or decorating
items for the home are provided as well.
The Newcomer's Club is a group of international women who
understand the customs, laws and ways of living in Costa Rica and are
eager to help those new to the country become acclimated, as well as,
share good times with friends and new acquaintances.
The club provides many opportunities to share mutual interests via the
meetings and special interest groups that are formed within the club each
season.
The Newcomer's Club meets from September until May of each year
and provides many opportunities during the season for developing special
interests, friendships and good times.
